Process

Add the Countdown widget anywhere on the page including hero, unique row, copy block.  Do not add countdown to header or footer.

Create row / content with countown from scratch or select section from Countdown folder. 

Use the Content Tab to:
  • Set the date and time the countdown ends
    • Add a countdown message that will appear when the countdown ends
    • Set how the end message will display
    • Add a title to the counter
Use the Design Tab to choose from several design layouts. You can customize:
  • Style
    • Size
    • Space between items
    • Background colors / dividers / round corners
  • Text
  • Numbers
    • Labels
    • Title
  • Frame style

Considerations

  • Make sure the design settings you define are correct per device. As usual, settings such as spacing (of the whole widget and individual items), width and more are defined per device. 
  • Make sure to set the timezone. 
  • Countdown is best use for future seasonal events.  Counting down to weekend or happy hour would not be applicable as there are no options to restart timer automatically.  
  • This timer only counts down.  It does not count up.  
  • Countdown widget will only be added after 1st proof or after set-live.
  • Countdown widget should only be added to content body of site (between header and footer).
